New Class for Spring

Daffodils Free Stock Photo - Public Domain Pictures

I'm teaching a new class at Guilford Art Center this Spring, one that combines a little bit of cultural history with hand stitch.  Intrigued?  Check out Guilford Art Center's full Spring catalog  HERE.

Speaking of Spring, only 40 days until the first day of Spring!!  Hang in there!!!

Winter Storm - Boo. Valentine's Day - Yay!

Okay, so I'm not a huge fan of winter.  And we've recently been socked with a Nor'easter so we have lots of snow around.  (For the record, I don't mind the snow, it's the cold I hate).

BUT - Valentine's Day is right around the corner!

I love Valentine's Day - the reds and pinks, the conversation hearts candies, the homemade cards and heartfelt sentiments.  I also love the idea of showing you care, every day (sort of like Earth Day is every day).

With that in mind, I've crafted some hand sewn goodies that are now in my Etsy shop.  Made with all-natural materials that are good for the planet, I definitely think you should take a look.

You can find my shop HERE.

And Just Like That - Happy 2022!

Where on earth did December 2021 go????? I'm taking down my Christmas tree today, and still I have no memory of the last month (by the way, the letters in the photo above are vintage children's wooden blocks, a few from my collection).

Seriously, though, it was a wonderful Christmas this year.  It would have been a better Christmas without all the COVID stuff that's still hanging around, but I can't complain.  For the most part, we were able to reunite with family and friends, celebrate the season and ring in the new year.

Looking ahead, I'm excited to be teaching a macrame class at Guilford Art Center this month.  You can find it HERE.

I'm also excited about a bunch of new projects I'm working on.  More about that soon!
