A Peek at View, Old Forge

Well, in this, our new normal, galleries have had to scramble to put exhibitions in front of viewers.  Textures and Layers:  A Walk in the Woods is a juried exhibition that I'm excited to be a part of, at View Art Center in Old Forge, New York.  Because of COVID-19, the gallery had to close, but they were able to capture the entire exhibit electronically.

Here is a link to see the entire exhibit.  The clip is about 9 minutes long.  You can see my piece at around the 7.49 (7 minutes, 49 seconds) mark.  Textures and Layers - View Old Forge, NY

I made this textile piece during my summer residency last year at Ely Center of Contemporary Art in New Haven, CT.  Natural dye processes were used to create the unique colors and textures.
